Parenting can be overwhelming at times, perhaps leaving you feeling down or worried more often than not. You may be here because you are experiencing some form of loss, or feeling betrayed, criticized, or blamed. In relationships, you might find yourself saying "yes" and feeling exhausted when you really mean to say "no." You may blame yourself and lack confidence in your decision-making ability. You may even experience physical symptoms such as headaches, stomach aches, intestinal problems, muscle pain, or fatigue without a clear medical explanation. There could be an underlying reason why you are feeling this way and I am here to help you find out why!

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and a Master of Social Work from Brigham Young University, I have training in many different psychotherapeutic theories and modalities. My therapeutic approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which theorizes that problems arise when thinking errors go untreated. CBT is an effective, evidence-based treatment that provides measurable results and is commonly used for a wide range of problems including depression, anxiety, substance abuse, eating disorders, relational issues, severe mental illness, etc. I am also a strong advocate of Family Systems Theory. When working with families, couples, and individuals I treat each person from a holistic approach and view the family as a system, with each component or person affecting the other. Together, we will work to understand how the environment plays a critical role in mental health and how the growth of one individual in a family impacts the whole family dynamic. I am solution-focused and a big advocate of self-care and healthy boundaries. I am dedicated to helping my clients focus on moving forward and finding their own solutions and relief.

Reaching out can be very difficult, especially when feeling vulnerable or even broken. I am impressed with your ability to reach out for help. If you are experiencing feelings of despair, low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, fear or other uncomfortable emotions, there is hope! I am eager to work together to help you achieve what you need to feel loved, connected, successful, and empowered. Investing in your well-being will bring lasting and fulfilling changes to your life. I have the tools and skills necessary to hold a healing and safe space for self-exploration and development. I am honored to connect with you to assist you with creating a life full of purpose and meaning!
