Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
LMFT #105577
I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a passion for helping individuals with recent and childhood traumas. I believe that previous traumatic experiences can impact the way in which we react to challenging situations. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) which can help to decrease the intensity of the previous traumatic experience. My goal is to support you in healing and being the best version of who you want to be. My approach is person-centered and I believe that only you are the expert of your life. I am personable, empathetic and I understand how the difficulties of labor, delivery and parenting can fill us with self-doubt. Seeking support during these challenging times takes strength and courage. I endured my own challenges with becoming a mother of two and I know it takes work to grow as a parent. I have over five years of experience with teaching positive parenting skills and supporting parents with their parenting goals. My desire is to humbly assist you with your personal goals so that you can strive to live a happier, more fulfilling life.
When I’m not a therapist, I enjoy goofing around with my two teen-aged children, going out to dinner with my husband, and working out with friends. I enjoy going to see live music, swimming at the beach and snowboarding in the winter. With a dog, two cats and three fish, our home is never empty.
