Lorraine Balek-Beeson, LPCC
I am a licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with eight years of experience assisting individuals, couples, and families in moving towards a new sense of balance after a loss or a trauma. I am person-centered in my approach to therapy, providing a calm, safe, and non-judgmental environment in which clients are encouraged and supported during the exploration of their emotions. I pride myself on employing a variety of research proven techniques such as CBT, EFT, and DBT. This allows me to custom tailor therapy sessions to each client’s individual needs. I am inspired to assist others in working through their issues during the reproductive years as I too experienced the mental stress and emotional toil of miscarriage, infant loss, and parenting a rainbow baby. It was these experiences which initially motivated me to become a therapist!
While my rainbow baby has now grown to adulthood, I spend my off-duty time with my husband, watching movies, going to concerts, hiking, gardening, and working on remodeling our home! I also enjoy cuddling up with my Cairn Terrier and reading either for work or pleasure.
