Registered Associate Clinical Social Worker

ASW #96058

Life seems to come with so many violations of expectations, especially on the journey towards parenthood. Sometimes we are left feeling alone, defeated, and without direction. Sometimes anxious thoughts consume our lives, and we are often unsure of how we will be able (or if we will be able) to handle the next thing life throws at us. No matter what you are faced with, reaching out is a brave and powerful step in a positive direction, and takes a lot of courage. So welcome, and I am glad you are here. My name is Rose, and I am a Registered Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW) working under the license and supervision of Aubrey Bonora, LMFT #107980.

I work primarily from a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) framework, but take an eclectic approach to therapy in order to best meet the needs of each individual. I have training in several evidence-based practices and always choose to work from a strength-based perspective. You are the expert in your life and your experiences, and there is so much within you that we can use to create a stable foundation, on which you can begin to stand again. I have training and experience working with children, adults, and families in several different treatment settings including pediatric primary care, children's hospital, pediatric hospice, oncology counseling, inpatient psychiatric unit, and outpatient mental health. In those settings, I have supported a wide variety of mental health concerns, parenting challenges, and navigated through crises and catastrophic diagnoses with families. Additionally, I have specialized training in perinatal mental health and reproductive grief and loss. In addition to my training and experience in the mental health world, I am a certified yoga instructor and feel there is importance in bringing a healing physical practice to those dealing with grief, loss, and other stressors. I often integrate yoga and mindfulness techniques into my practice to encourage reconnection to your body in order to promote whole-person healing by reaching the pain, trauma, and grief stuck within.

Each individual’s experience is deeply personal and unique to them, and deserves to be explored and honored in a meaningful way. My own lived experience has helped me to understand the importance of this work, and I hope to be able to provide a caring and supportive space for you to navigate through any challenges you are facing. There is strength in the ability to ask for support and I would consider it an honor and privilege to walk through this with you. My goal is to be able to provide you with an authentic, compassionate, and non-judgmental space for you to heal.

When I am not in the therapy room, you can find me outdoors. I love to hike, camp, and travel with my husband and dog Tallulah. Otherwise, I’ll be cozied up on the couch with a good book or whatever craft project I am currently working on. I am glad that you are reaching out, and I look forward to working with you!
