Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy
LMFT #141002
Hello and congratulations, because you’ve taken the first step towards healing. Infertility, pregnancy loss, postpartum, birth complications/trauma, and parenting are all such significant life events that can impact our mental health. If you’re feeling overwhelming emotions linked to any of these topics, I’m here to help you navigate through your journey.
My name is Tiffany, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have training and experience working with adults, children, and families in several different treatment settings. I earned a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pacific Oaks College and a Bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Psychology with a double minor in Child Development and African American Studies from the University of California, Irvine. I tend to utilize various evidence-based treatments, but the strength-based approach is most significant in my work. My approach to therapy is one that strives to create a non-judgmental, action-oriented, and compassionate environment. A place where being honest with ourselves can deepen understanding, allow thoughts/emotions to be processed, and lead to a more peaceful and meaningful life.
I have personally dealt with an array of reproductive issues, and I know how daunting it can be when your dreams suddenly become distorted. Resilience is key, and the power to cultivate resilience is one that can defy all odds. I am here to provide you with support, tools, and techniques to move forward in life with a strengthened sense of emotional well-being.
In my free time I enjoy any and everything that has to do with music, gardening, cooking, and crafting with my husband and beautiful rainbow baby. When I reflect on the obstacles that I’ve overcome in life, I stand firm on being able to do so through the support and encouragement of others, which fuels my passion to be here to help you!
