Pregnancy Loss
When it's hard to stay pregnant

You are heartbroken after hearing those dreaded words “I’m so sorry, there’s no heartbeat.” In one moment, all of your hopes, dreams, and visions of your future family are replaced with darkness. You feel betrayed by your body. There are reminders of your loss everywhere. You’re wondering how you can carry on after losing a part of your heart.
Friends and family try to help but they can’t understand how you could love someone so fiercely who you hadn’t even met yet. This was your baby, no matter how long you carried him or her. They say, “just try again” or “everything happens for a reason” with the best of intentions, but these statements only make you feel even worse and more alone as you try to carry on in your day-to-day life.
Our therapists at Reproductive Mental Health and Wellness specialize in working with individuals and couples who have experienced perinatal loss (miscarriage, stillbirth, termination for medical reasons, abortion, infant loss, etc.). Several of us have experienced pregnancy losses ourselves. We are here to help you heal from your loss, feel less overwhelmed by the process, and bring hope back to the family building process.
You don’t have to be in this alone. You deserve support. Contact us to set up your first session.
