Pregnancy Support
When pregnancy isn't giving you that glowing feeling

Pregnancy is not at all what you thought it would be like (especially if you are finally pregnant following infertility or loss). Instead of glowing, you are uncomfortable with body changes, nausea, vomiting, heartburn, and back pain. Since the pandemic started, you have also had to navigate attending appointments alone, adjusting your birth plan to include only one other person, you are constantly worried about getting sick, and your baby shower has been cancelled or changed to a virtual event.
Or maybe you are glowing, your pregnancy is going well, and you are eagerly anticipating your due date. But in the back of your mind, you are still worried about something going wrong before or after the baby comes. Perhaps you worry you are at risk for postpartum depression or anxiety, and want to do everything you can to prevent or manage it.
If you are considered high risk or have additional complications like placenta previa or preeclampsia, your pregnancy has become a time you just want to get through safely rather than savor and celebrate.
Our therapists at Reproductive Mental Health and Wellness have specialized training in working with individuals and couples before, during, and after pregnancy. We are here to support you through challenges that come up in your pregnancy, and plan for the postpartum period so you know help is ready if you need it.
You don’t have to be in this alone. You deserve support. Contact us to set up your first session.
