Therapy from the comfort of your home, office, or anywhere in California

We are always pleased to offer teletherapy as a way to connect with you.

As we are living with the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have shifted all of our visits to teletherapy until further notice.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is teletherapy?

Teletherapy allows you to meet with your therapist through audio and video securely over the internet from the comfort of your home, office, or anywhere in California. There's no need to deal with traffic when you can attend your appointments directly from a laptop or mobile device, saving you time and hassle.

What equipment do I need?

You can meet with your clinician on-the-go from your desktop, laptop, tablet, or mobile device - it's your choice!

How should I prepare my space for a teletherapy appointment?

  • Identify a suitable place that is quiet, private, and free of distractions.
  • To keep background noise to a minimum, make sure to close any doors, shut windows, turn off the television, and keep loud pets in another room, if possible. Consider hanging a “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door to avoid interruptions.
  • If you have small children, we recommend scheduling your session during nap time or finding an activity that will keep them busy.

Is teletherapy private?

Just like a face-to-face appointment, your teletherapy visit is private and confidential. None of your appointments will ever be recorded or stored.

Is teletherapy covered by insurance?

Most insurance plans cover teletherapy appointments the same as in-office appointments. Please check with your plan to make sure teletherapy is covered (we are happy to help you with this).
